Lydia was a gorgeous, typey puppy who matured better and better with each passing year, which was reflected in her continued successes and frequency of wins as those years drew on. She was consistently on the winners pegs with her classic qualities being recognised by International and Australian judges alike, and most humbly by breed specialists which was always a thrill.
In 2015 Lydia produced a healthy litter of 10 puppies to “Cruz” Ch Breagha A Knight To Remember (owned by our dear friend Michelle Woodbury of Breagha Collies, Sydney). We retained the gorgeous Sable male pup “Raph” Vedamea One Knight Stand who was a MULTI Baby in Show winner both All Breeds and Specialty, who due to unforeseen circumstances was placed in a forever home. We also kept a Sable female pup in “Kendall” Ch Vedamea About Last Knight who has enjoyed her share of success, proving herself both in the show ring, whelping box, and various other disciplines.
She has always been the queen of her castle and the epitome of devoted. She is my heart dog.

Lydia was retired after her 2018 Sydney Royal BOB win, on 928 points, with two BISS wins and 7 Group 1st's.
She made an appearance at the CCNSW Specialty in 2019 under renown breeder judge Miranda Blake (Corydon, UK) to take RBCC and Veteran 10+ in Show - at 11 years old. This would be her swan song, and what a grand way to do it.
